I’ve always loved Jollof Rice, always been fascinated by it. A few years ago, I began to study its origins and explore theories about its roots. I learnt a lot about trade routes in ancient times, about the richness of African cuisine and culture, about the connections we share from Senegal to Nigeria and Cameroun and about celebrating all of it – our history, culture, recipes and traditions in The New Nigerian Kitchen.
This site is a catalogue of Jollof, my love for it and my discoveries about it.
